Smile For Me (Levi x Reader Modern AU) Intro

Great.
First day of at a new school, and I am already late.
Stumbling into my homeroom, Anatomy with Ms. Zoe, and blush a little as I feel everyone's eyes on me.
"AH! You must be our new student! Please introduce yourself."
I keep my eyes down, and shyly smile. My hands immediately start shaking, and I can feel my heartbeat accelerate.
"Hello, my name is .....ummm.....my name is Lily, I am 16, a sophomore, and I transferred here from Wilson."
I quickly take my seat in the back of the classroom, and try to calm down. As I do a breathing exercise, the person sitting next to me whispers, "Hi! I am Armin." He shakes my hand and smiles. He's adorable honestly. "If you have any questions or wanna be shown around, I can help you!" Someone from behind Armin pipes up, "Us too! I am Eren, that's Mikasa."
The teacher clears her throat and says we will have time for introductions later, now it's time for class.
I nudge Armin and ask him about the boy to my left.
"Him? Oh, that's Levi. Think he's cute huh? Yeah, all the girls do. Dont bother trying though. He is a lost cause, inevitably depressed."
"D-Depressed?"
He has depression too, I wonder how bad he is. Does he go to therapy? Does he take pills? He needs a friend. So do I.
"Yes, but he has good reasons to be. His family died when he was only 9 years old, and he's been in foster care ever since. Being a senior now, he is almost old enough to move out on his own. I dont know though, he never talks to anyone about .....anything."
I nod, and avert my eyes back to the board, stealing glances at Levi now and then.
